All the oak has been absorbed, but, surprisingly, there is not a lot of difference between this wine and the regular cuvee of Fombrauge. This full-bodied opulent St.-Emilion exhibits creme de cassis and kirsch-like flavors low acidity ripe tannin and a savory expansive mouthfeel. It can be drunk now and over the next 15+ years.
