This supple Cabernet feels gentle and soft on entry, then stuns with hidden power and depth. Fully ripe, with chocolaty cassis and cherry flavors. Marked by firm tannins, it is generous now, yet should hold for a good 10... This supple Cabernet feels gentle and soft on entry, then stuns with hidden power and depth. Finishes long and sweet with a bit of acidity yet to be integrated. 90 points

Supple and harmonious with rich elegant spicy black cherry and blackberry fruit that's very well-balanced for the vintage. Finishes with dry herbal tannins but also a push of juicy blackberry. Drink now through 2010... Supple and harmonious with rich elegant spicy black cherry and blackberry fruit that's very well-balanced for the vintage. After the exceptional success of the 2001 and 2002 I must confess to some disappointment with the 2003. It exhibits a good dark ruby/purple color as well as lovely floral black currant earth and toasty oak characteristics... After the exceptional success of the 2001 and 2002 I must confess to some disappointment with the 2003. It exhibits a good dark ruby/purple color as well as lovely floral black currant earth and toasty oak characteristics but it is short in the middle without sufficient follow through. Drink it over the next 4-5 years.
