The estate’s 2003 Lupicaia a deep opaque red is perhaps slightly more complete than the Castello showing greater aromatic complexity and a tightly-wound core of ripe fruit with plush personality superb length and more structure than its sibling closing with a lingering note of sweetness on the finish. It also gives the impression of having just a little more acidity as well as freshness than the Castello. Anticipated maturity: 2008-2015.
