One of the more underrated Cabernet Sauvignons in Napa (and it's not surprising that I feel the same way about their nearby neighbor Seavey) is Anderson's Estate Cabernet Sauvignon from no other place than ... the Conn Valley. The 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve has a beautiful deep ruby/purple color and a sweet nose of licorice roasted meats new saddle leather plums figs blackberries and currants. The wine spends 22-26 months in oak and every year is virtually 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine is opulent fleshy and very sexy but in spite of its accessibility it should age brilliantly for 15-20 years.
