Composed of 92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Merlot and 2% Cabernet Franc, the 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon Mt. Veeder was given the same barrel regime and duration as the Howell Mountain cuvee. It exhibits a deep plum/ruby/purple color that is slightly less saturated than the Howell Mountain along with attractive aromas of blueberry and black currant fruit, a supple, less floral style with more blue fruits, medium to full body and an elegant, stylish, rich personality. Enjoy this beauty over the next decade. - Robert Parker
