Here the wood spice is a bit more dialed up and while not intrusive, it's knocking on the door as it fights for center stage with the expressive aromas of red cherry, earth and hints of leather and tea that introduce rich, sweet and mineral-infused flavors that possess solid mid-palate sève to buffer the dusty and firm structure. This is really quite lovely with a beguiling freshness and plenty of finishing vibrancy. 2012+ (B 92-90)
