Rhys Vineyard's non-estate wines which are bottled under the Alesia label include this 2004 Pinot Noir Sonatera Vineyard. Beautiful aromas of forest floor plums mulberries sweet cherries and hints of herbs and underbrush crisp acidity and a Cote de Nuits-like style are found in this Sonoma Coast Pinot. It does not have the flavor dimension and complexity of Rhys' estate wines but it is a pretty high class Pinot Noir to enjoy over the next 5-6 years.www.rhysvineyard.com
