Interestingly this is even purer and aromatically finer than the Vosne wines and while there is less spice and more earth influence the transparency of the red pinot fruit aromas is really lovely. The flavors are on the lighter side but with excellent detail and precision though at present the finish is somewhat bitter. This may round out with time in bottle but I have my concerns despite how pretty the nose and mouth feel are.
