Displays loads of milk chocolate with ripe plum and blueberry. Full-bodied with chewy tannins and a powerful finish. So rich and opulent. A superb Brunello. This cantina keeps getting better and better. Best after 2012... Displays loads of milk chocolate with ripe plum and blueberry. Full-bodied with chewy tannins and a powerful finish. Then sweet and expansive on the palate with rich red cherry and underbrush flavors. Features a distinctly creamier mouthfeel than the entry-level '05 Brunello and finishes with mouthcoating fine tannins and good length. From a selection of the best grapes this will age very well. The best wine I have ever tried from La Vigna at a similar young stage of development.
