This vintage continues to impress, and the 2005 Clos L'Eglise is nothing short of stunning. Boasting a youthful ruby/plum hue as well as sensational notes of red and black currants, camphor, graphite, dried herbs, and loamy earth, it's full-bodied, multi-dimensional, flawlessly balanced, and has a finish that won't quit. Still not quite at full maturity, it nevertheless dishes out loads of pleasure and will shine for another 20-25 years.
