Aromas of mushrooms and spices with hints of foie gras. Full body with round, velvety tannins and a meat, berry and plum aftertaste. Just opening now.

The La Dame -05 is introspective and disjointed on the nose with moderate definition. There are aromas of blackberry, damson and a touch of fig but I am sure that aeration would make this blossom. Lighter chassis here, fine tannins but rather conservative and foursquare. Earthy, pain grille, a little graphite, nice definition on the finish but it could do with more stuffing. Give it time to reopen. Drink 2013-2020.
