A big wine, with 14.8% well-hidden alcohol, the 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon Alexis (90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Merlot that spent 22 months in French oak) comes from the Swanson family, who founded their estate in 1995, so this vintage was their 10th anniversary. It should continue to drink well for another 10-15 years. - Robert M. Parker, Jr.
