The 2006 Alta Chardonnay was sourced from the high altitude Adrianna Vineyard. The wine was fermented with native yeasts then barrel-fermented and aged for 16 months in 50% new French oak. The nose reveals pain grille baking spices floral notes baked apple and tropical fruits. This leads to a layered wine with a creamy texture ripe complex flavors and a lengthy finish. This well-balanced effort will provide pleasure for at least 3-4 years.
