91+ The 2006 auction Auslese from the Müller estate is cut stylistically very much from the same cloth as the Spätlese, and offers up lovely precision, purity and soil inflection. The bouquet is quite fine, as it offers up notes of white cherries, lime, petrol, plenty of slate, floral tones redolent of irises and an exotic topnote of licorice. On the palate the wine is medium-full and beautifully focused, with a very gentle touch of botrytis, fine framing acids and a lovely, ethereal and soil-driven finish. This wine was sold at 135 € per bottle. (Drink between 2012-2040)
