The 2006 Estate Vineyard Chardonnay was barrel-fermented and aged on its lees in 40% new French oak for 18 months. Light gold-colored it exhibits a superb bouquet of mineral toast butter hazelnuts pear and a hint of tropical fruits. Creamy textured it has layers of flavor excellent integration of oak and acidity and a fruit-filled finish. It should blossom for several more years and drink well for a decade.

Polished focused and appealing for its restraint offering crisp nectarine and blood orange flavors framed with a thin line of spicy oak. Has lively acidity to balance the lithe texture. Drink now through 2010. 50 cases imported. -HS
