Reviews for 2006 Girardin, Vincent Meursault les Genevrieres 1er Cru

WS 93
Wine Spectator - Wine Spectator, September 2008
Wonderful purity allows the green accents of lime plum and mint to shine and there's also a hint of juniper. It all stays sleek and lithe unwinding to the long finish. Best from 2009 through 2016. 100 cases imported.

Gives a sweeter impression on entry then turns tactile dry and strict in the middle with excellent chewy rocky density of texture. Tighter and more serious than the Charmes but much less harmonious today. This very young minerally saline wine will need time.
