A hint of resin adds breadth to the mostly floral and citrus aromas that precede the stony intense and detailed medium-bodied flavors that offer good if not exceptional depth and fine finishing punch and persistence. This is a mineral-driven wine that hasn't quite found its center yet as it lacks a bit of overall harmony though this may very well arrive after a year or so in bottle. My score offers the benefit of the doubt as the underlying material seems to be quite solid plus Girardin has an extremely good track record with this wine.
