Dark, ripe plum comes through on the nose, along with a hint of vanilla. On the palate, dried Morello cherry hits the tip of the tongue followed by briary mineral notes, ground coffee and cocoa that gains prominence on the back. The tannins are still quite firm and the finish is bone-dry, hinting again at a mineral theme and an intriguing note of cigar ash. This delicious effort will pair well with a grilled t-bone or New York strip steak!
