Then glycerol and hugely sweet in the mouth, almost heavy for this bottling, with flavors of dark fruits, mocha and maple syrup carrying through on the long, exotic finish. Just a tad higher in residual sugar (approximately 25%) and lower in alcohol (14.2%) than typical for this wine...
