This dense red is austere in character but shows depth with mineral earth and smoke notes over plum and sanguine flavors. This has firm structure and good balance but just needs time. Best after 2011. 220 cases made. -TM

Chewy blackcurrant and cherry-cola flavors slowly open with air to offer a sweeter blackberry quality. The finish clings impressively and echoes the licorice and cherry notes.
