Smooth and finely balanced this well made polished and regional wine exhibits very ripe intense and sour-edged flavours of dark plus blackberries and cassis that reveal just a faint presence of slightly baked currant-like influence. Neatly married with smoky coconut chocolatey and smoked oyster-like oak it's backed by spicy notes of licorice and cloves and underpinned by a firm pliant extract of fine tannins.
