Bitter cherry and blackcurrant flavors are lifted by juicy acidity and pick up dusty tannins with air. Finishes focused spicy and impressively persistent with echoes of smoke and dark fruits. This will be better with a few more years of bottle age.-Josh Raynolds

Medium shiny red translucent. Atypical for the 2007 vintage this blend of mainly Grenache and Syrah is beautifully refined and restrained. The nose features cherry vanilla bean garrigue wood smoke and a touch of mocha... Medium shiny red translucent. Atypical for the 2007 vintage this blend of mainly Grenache and Syrah is beautifully refined and restrained. The nose features cherry vanilla bean garrigue wood smoke and a touch of mocha. Juicy and almost gulpable on the palate it's a lighter to medium style that will please lovers of old-school Chateauneuf as well as Spanish garnacha. Drink this fresh delicious wine over the next three years or from 2015-2018. Excellent effort!
