Floral and spicy in aroma with cherry berry and spice flavors. Well-toned and elegant with a firm structure all harmonious and well-defined. Best from 2012 through 2024. 140 cases imported. -BS

A discreet but unmistakable hint of secondary character is now present on the mostly red berry fruit-infused nose that is subtly laced with Asian spices, rose petal and anise nuances. There is fine intensity to the round and less obviously concentrated middle weight flavors that possess both good richness and solid if not exceptional mid-palate concentration, all wrapped in a sappy, focused and persistent finish. This isn’t quite at its apogee but note that it could easily be enjoyed now. 2019+

Elegant and perfumed on the nose it displays sturdy aromas of red cherry menthol anise and sage. Bigger on the palate than the color would lead one to expect there are loads of ripe strawberry and red cherry framed by a touch of cedar. Showing good acid and purity this wine will age effortlessly for the next decade and then some. But why not enjoy a bottle or two now?
