The beautiful extraction of color showcases a rich ruby red with slight notes of garnet on the rim. The nose offers fresh aromas of strawberries red apple skins crushed flowers and wet chalk then unveils backbone notes of sage and tarragon along with a hint of lilac and cinnamon. With mild acidity and sweet tannin the palate is smooth and the flavors of cinnamon cardamon and black pepper emerge also showing refined red fruit. The mid palate brings a bouquet of flowers and spices that intertwine with truffle and turned earth. The finish is elegant lasting easily for 30+ seconds. Well done!

The wine exhibits a ruby purple color with brilliant intensity. A pretty perfume of ripe cherry fruit with flower blossoms is accompanied by creamy mocha and a lovely note of brambly spice. A pretty perfume of ripe cherry fruit with flower blossoms is accompanied by creamy mocha and a lovely note of brambly spice. An underlying note of mineral from limestone soils supports the nicely concentrated fruit. The palate is very Burgundian with wild strawberries and savory cherries on the entry building in intensity with a rich silky texture. From the first bottling of Thomas Morey (son of the legendary Bernard Morey now retired) this is a delicious French Burgundy with classic structure and both persistence and elegance.
