Medium to deep ruby in color, the 2007 Long Gully Pinot Noir has notes of charcoal, black loam and dried herbs with a core of dried mulberries, warm plums and red currant jelly plus cinnamon stick and cloves as it continues to open. Showing a little maturity on the palate, it is drinking well now with soft silky tannins and good amount of evolved fruit, finishing long and earthy. - Lisa Perrotti-Brown
