Licorice tangerine lemon gardenia and orange blossom alluringly scent the Weins-Prum 2007 Erdener Pralat Riesling Spatlese another of those wines of this vintage that manage to combine a real sense of stuffing (albeit at a mere 7.5 alcohol) with refined minerality lightness and lift (virtues less-often encountered from the Pralat than from other Mosel sites). This finishes loaded with sheer juicy refreshment while not skimping on wet stone and alkaline mineral suggestions; high in residual sugar yet balanced in end effect and truly transparent to nuance. It should cellar well for the better part of 20 years.
