The 2008 Pinot Noir De Lancellotti Vineyard (sourced from his brother-in-law's biodynamically certified vineyard) is medium ruby red in color. Racy red cherries raspberries and mineral notes are followed by an elegant wine with a velvety texture intensely flavored red fruits uplifting acidity and nicely concealed ripe tannin that should allow for a slow evolution of 3-4 years. It is approachable now but will be in its prime from 2013 to 2023. -Jay Miller
