Coming from clay/loamy soils in a very cold site planted with the Burgundian Dijon clones this dark ruby/purple-tinged Pinot Noir (14.5% alcohol) has the classic raspberry and blueberry notes with some sweet black cherry and subtle earth in the background. It is probably the most front end-loaded of the B-C Pinot Noirs with tremendous elegance an attractive medium to full-bodied mouthfeel and a seductive lush finish. Drink it over the next decade.

High-pitched and sappy with brisk minerality lifting pure red fruit and floral flavors. A dense penetrating essence of red fruit with terrific definition and uncanny energy. Finishes with firm but silky tannins and noteworthy power but the overall impression is of finesse. This is gorgeous. -Josh Raynolds
