The 2008 Chablis 1er Cru Les Preuses was also poured from magnum. It has an open and generous bouquet with orange zest, dried grapefruit, nectarine and dried honey. The palate is very well-balanced with fine acidity - hints of white peach and nectarine on the entry, becoming a little more resinous toward the finish that shows excellent weight and persistency in the mouth. This is drinking beautifully at the moment, but certainly in large formats it will continue to age. Drink now-2020. - NEAL MARTIN
