Orange peel pear and smoky minerals on the nose with complicating hints of clove and iodine. Sappy and dense with emphatic spicy character to the flavors of poached pear lemon custard and honeycomb. Finishes with building minerality and very good length repeating the smoky iodiney quality. -Josh Raynolds

Richly flavored featuring full-blown fig apricot honeysuckle and melon touches with toasty oak woven in. A slightly leesy edge marks the finish. Drink now through 2017. 150 cases made. -JL
