This is also highly perfumed and perhaps even purer with high-toned red pinot fruit liberally laced with wet stone influences. The detailed and intensely mineral-driven medium-bodied flavors possess a silky texture and a highly sophisticated mouth feel all wrapped in a long refined and utterly classic finish. This is quite simply terrific. Outstanding.

On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and quite elegant in profile, with a lovely core, fine transparency, moderate tannins and a long, tangy and soil-driven finish. This still needs a few more years, but it is progressing nicely in the bottle and will be a very fine drink with just a bit more bottle age.
