Totally decadent and fortunately set off with brisk citrusy acidity. Calling all lobsters and don't forget the drawn butter. Sheer hedonism in a glass at a fantastic price. S.H.

Nervier and more aromatically incisive than the Verna's showing tightly focused lemon lime and green apple scents and notes of white pepper and mace. Spicy and precise on the palate which offers concentrated orchard fruit flavors and good mineral bite. The lime and spice notes repeat on the long juicy energetic finish. This wine was also raised in neutral oak according to winemaker Greg Brewer. -Josh Raynolds

Again the purity and precision are impressive and although there is a touch of spice there is virtually no evidence of any oak.

A brilliant pale golden hue pushes all the way to the edge of the rim. displays. The nose is very reminiscent of premier cru Chablis and might be mistaken for one if tasted blind with notes of meyer lemon sea shell and a touch of orange marmalade. Very well balanced the palate is loaded with flavor as the bright acidity nicely frames the citrus and mineral notes. The finish is long and clean on this classy chardonnay. Well done!
