Black cherry, flowers, graphite and brown spices on the nose, along with a youthful medicinal aspect. Silky and suave in the mouth, with lovely sweet fruit supported by harmonious acidity. Less obviously structured than the 2007 version but there's plenty of energy here. And this is downright Burgundian in style.
