The 1522 Rosé in 2008 is essentially the same blend as its Brut sibling, with 58% Pinot Noir and 42% Chardonnay, including 10% added as red wine from the highest, south-facing plots on the Clos des Goisses. The colour, fading bronze, presages a wine of great precision and depth, with soft spices and red fruits at its finely etched core.
