Very well-integrated vanillary new oak, well balanced, this is so lithe and supple. Utterly seductive with its sensuous finish. This is utterly charming. Drink 2011-2018.

(BH88-91 points) Relatively strong reduction blocks the nose but the nicely rich, forward and round medium-bodied flavors are fresh and vibrant in the mouth, all wrapped in a lightly mineral-driven and precise finish. A Bousselots of finesse.

(WA90-91 points) Its dark color and deep, intense aromas of licorice, black raspberry, beet root, and peat, render Chevillons’ 2008 Nuits-St.-Georges Les Bousselots a remarkable contrast with its Chaignots sibling. Sweetly-ripe dark berries, peat bogs, fruit pits, and medicinal herbs inform a palpably-dense, fine-grained palate and in a long, finish emerges a savory salinity that draws saliva and invigorates.
