Deep purple in color, it sports an...   The 2008 Kingpin Cabernet Sauvignon (which contains 10% Petit Verdot) was sourced from the Klipsun and Kiona Vineyards located in the Red Mountain AVA and was aged in 89% new French oak. Deep purple in color, it sports an inviting nose of pain grille, pencil lead, Asian spices, incense, and assorted black fruits. It reveals layers of fruit on the palate along with plenty of tannin. It seems to have the balance to evolve for 3-4 years and may well see its 20th birthday in fine form. 90+ - Jay Miller
