A deft hint of wood does not suppress the expressiveness of the mildly exotic dried yellow fruit and oyster shell nose that marries into delicious and succulent medium plus weight flavors that possess ample amounts of dry extract as well as a more linear citrusy and energetic finish than most '09s. This is a very fine effort with its textured precise and mineral-driven mouth feel and the overall impression is of a wine that exudes "presence". - Comments: Outstanding ♥

Ripe but cooler aromas of citrus fruits with hints of marzipan and apricot emerging with air. Juicy and fruity in the mouth with a solid impression of acidity for the vintage giving shape and lift to the peach and citrus flavors. This was aged in a portion of new barrels but the oak is very nicely integrated. Finishes with good lemony freshness and saline minerality. An excellent showing.
