The 2009 Corton-Charlemagne from Bonneau du Martray is currently in a very nice point
of its evolution for current consumption, wafting from the glass in a mix of white peach,
pineapple, lanolin, chalk, a touch of crème patissière, orange zest and vanillin oak. On the palate
the wine is deep, full-bodied and complex, with a good core, bright, framing acids and very good
grip and focus on the long and wide open finish. A very strong 2009 white Burgundy, with a
1992-like personality. 2014-2025.
