Very ripe on the palate but juicy tight and gripping with superb energy to its dark berry floral and mineral flavors. Finishes with some superripe notes and firm tannic spine. Really refreshes the palate on the very long finish. The crop level was a full 45 hectoliters per hectare here.

A very ripe nose of mocha cassis and discreet spice notes is followed by equally ripe rich and generous broad-scaled flavors that possess an opulent mouth feel as the sap renders the otherwise firm tannins almost invisible on the delicious and solidly lasting finish. This has good vibrancy though not as good as the best in the range.
