WS 94
Wine Spectator, December 2010
Intense and sleek with concentrated nectarine lime and slate flavors that give this plenty of verve. Quite smoky midpalate with a powerful seamless finish that oozes minerality. Drink now through 2030. -KM

Tyrell's 2009 Eitelsbacher Karthauserhofberg Riesling Spatlese (there is only a single bottling of this name) smells of fresh lime lingonberry honeysuckle and a surprising whiff of petrol.
