Pretty black currant and floral aromas and flavors lead off in this supple Nuits which has a solid base of tannins but balances all the elements well. The long fruit-filled finish is complemented by black pepper and sweet spices. Best from 2014 through 2028. -BS

A distinct touch of wood spice frames the ripe but fresh nose that mixes both wild and blue red berry fruit aromas along with plenty of earth and stone nuances both of which can be found on the appealingly textured rich and concentrated flavors that are shaped and supported by the very firm but integrated tannins and impressively lingering finish.
