So much dusty flavour and tannin here. Incredibly varietal. Blackcurrant mulberries and briar-bush. Has a cool menthol character too. Medium-weight noticeably tannic and yet fluid. Real fan of this. Real cabernet... So much dusty flavour and tannin here. Incredibly varietal. Blackcurrant mulberries and briar-bush. Has a cool menthol character too. Medium-weight noticeably tannic and yet fluid. Real fan of this. Real cabernet; structured but not overdone. Long dusty sinewy length. Not an opulent wine; this is not a wine for the fruit tarts. It's simply a wine of class and purity and varietal integrity.

Dusty tannins build with air and add grip to the long penetrating finish. This wine should age slowly.

Packed with luscious black cherry fruit this wine takes its time to reveal the clean lines of its structure. The tannins take on earthy detail with air the fruit highlighting freshness. Decant it for thick-cut lamb chops.
