This is really quite fresh for the vintage with primarily red fruit and earth aromas preceding overtly muscular and big-bodied flavors that are robust and even mildly rustic all wrapped in a delicious impressively intense and highly complex finish that evidences plenty of the hallmark youthful austerity. There is an ample amount of underlying tension and like the Les St. Georges patience will be required.
