A highly expressive nose of liqueur of plum and purple fruits slides gracefully into rich full-bodied and serious flavors yet the mouth feel is really quite fine. There is good generosity to the palate coating finish as there is an impressive amount of dry extract that renders the very firm tannins less prominent than they would otherwise be.
