Firm in texture with chewy tannins surrounding berry and violet flavors. Needs time to soften the edges. Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot Syrah and Cabernet Franc. Best from 2014 through 2019. 660 cases made. -HS

Dark ruby with a garnet core that pushes to a violet rim. Very savory on the nose resplendent with intense aromas of black cherry and blackberry cobbler and framed with toasty barrel notes of baking spices and vanillin. An underlying perfume of crushed flowers is complemented with loamy terroir-driven components of clay and fresh-turned earth. Smooth entry on the palate with mouthwatering and supple black and blue fruit showing a finesse and precision that leads to a rich and satisfying mid-palate. Tannins find a small grip on the finish refreshing the palate and providing ample opportunity for development over the next 5 to 7 years.
