Hints of sweet pastry and rising bread entice on this refreshing, dry, yet honeyed sparkling wine made from Tokaj grape varieties. It’s brisk on the palate, with a clean cut, but it has all of the waxy, floral qualities of a sweet Tokaj wine. Fantastic now, but it could be even more glorious with five more years in the cellar.

Enticing, ripe aromas of soft citrus fruits, yellow peach, toast, spices, nuts and butter, complemented by toasty lees and a whiff of toffee. Round, spicy and intense, with a ripe tangelo flavor nicely framed by harmonious acidity. This spreads out nicely on the palate without leaving any impression of undue weight. A touch of sweetness is balanced by ripe acidity. More meaty and wine-like than stony compared to Champagne but offers considerable aromatic appeal. This creamy yet tangy sparkling wine is delicious and long. Winemaker Juhász uses aszú for his dosage. This wine was inspired by Domaine Huet's Vouvray petillant.
