The 2009 Nosotros Malbec comes from 53-year-old vines in Lujan de Cuyo and Uco Valley and is raised in new French oak for 18 months. It has a rich, blackberry and raspberry scented bouquet, interlaced by Valrhona chocolate and dried herbs. The palate is full-bodied with supple tannins and a sweet core of raspberry and strawberry fruit. Although the aromatics are a little oaky, the palate absorbs the oak well, rendering the finish harmonious and voluptuous. Drink now-2020. - Neal Martin
