The sauvignon was hand-harvested between Sept. 7th and 10th with the semillon came in between Sept. 10th and 17th.Yields were 36 hls/ha. A beautifully expressive and intense nose is loaded with bright citrus lemon curd and white floral. On the palate this is opulent and round with creamy texture and flavors of citrus lanolin and zippy lemon crème. The fruit is carried through a long intense finish by vibrant acids that almost dance on your tongue. This will show beautifully upon release and should hold nicely for following 3-4 years. Stéphane Derenoncourt and Simon Blanchard consult.

I like this always in white with dried pineapple and lemon with lots of limes too. Full and fresh. Tangy.

Very bright and lively with lots of verbena lime and white peach flavors harnessed for now by a blanched almond note. Really pure with a flash of shortbread on the lengthy finish. Should age nicely in the near term. Drink... Very bright and lively with lots of verbena lime and white peach flavors harnessed for now by a blanched almond note. A surprising blend of 70% Semillon and 30% Sauvignon Blanc made by Stephane Derenoncourt produced a honeyed melony wine offering hints of pineapples and other tropical fruits. Not a classic Bordeaux but it is very enticing.

Very honeyed nose - almost as if this is going to be a sweet wine! Then dry and acid on the palate with chalky texture. Quite racy and refreshing for the short term.
