Tasted at Gruaud Larose this has a slightly disjointed nose at the moment. Blackberry boysenberry and some lovely figgy accents though I would like to see more delineation. The palate has firm bold tannins on the entry toasty black fruit great purity and refinement towards the finish. A second sample at the UGC was showing just a little more greenness than I was expecting on the nose although the palate is still very fine.
