Sheer aromatic generosity, so clear and sharp, bursts from the glass. Once your nose settles in, it is rewarded with a veritable parade of floral, spice and bright berry aromas. This unstoppable wine shows the highest levels of class and elegance. This is one bottle seriously worth putting aside. Anticipated maturity: 2016-2035. -Monica Larner

Complex but backward, offering noteworthy density to its dark red fruit, white pepper and mineral flavors. A major mouthful of Barbaresco finishing with terrific breadth and sweetness, smooth tannins and rising length. This was obviously a very good vintage for this sun trap of a vineyard.
